New Sermon Series at Immanuel

After much prayer and fasting and coffee at Heine Brothers, the elders have decided that Immanuel just hasn't achieved the level of relevance or coolness that we need to reach Louisville. Part of this has to do with the ginormous stained-glass windows in our antiquatied worship building. This Jesus is an albino who got a lot of product endorsements for VO5. To counteract this, we have decided to preach a new sermon series re-imagining Jesus as a cool and relevant hipster concerned with issues of social justice (to add an ironic back story, this Jesus is remarkably unconcerned about the environment). Starting this Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church, I present our new sermon series: Steam Punk Jesus
